  The Cornstore Restaurant Limerick is situated in the heart of Limerick City, on Thomas Street.

  As one of Limerick's best restaurants, we offer a casual, warm and lively dining experience in a Manhattan style setting over three floors, complete with a unique wine and cocktail bar, private dining room and contemporary smoking area.

  Specialising in seafood and steak, the restaurant works on the ethos of "quality food sourced locally". We source ingredients for all our dishes from local suppliers where possible. Organic, free range and artisan producers are reviewed on a regular basis, with our own chefs inspecting off-site premises to find the very best ingredients. Head Chef Maura Baxter focuses on local and seasonal produce to create each signature dish.

  Padraic Frawley - Proprietor

  A native of Co. Limerick, Padraic has always had a desire for the hospitality business. At the young age of 25 he took charge of his first venue and has since never looked back. In the years that followed he first delved into the hotel world, then set his mind to open the first Cornstore in Cork. Following this success he moved closer to home and in Nov '08 Cornstore Limerick opened its doors.

  Padraic believes the driving force behind the Cornstore's success is based on a few key ingredients: "Sourcing local suppliers, producing fresh quality ingredients in-house, employing only the best staff and most of all listening to our customers to create an all round experience which will make people feel at home when dining out."

  The Cornstore Restaurant spans 3 floors offering a casual, warm and lively dining experience in a Manhattan style setting, complete with a unique wine and cocktail bar, private dining room and contemporary smoking area. The interior is mirrored to match the stylish elegance of its sister restaurant in Cork with intricate floor tiling, pewter style bar, cosy booths and intimate lighting.

  Both Cornstore buildings were selected because of their historic presence and the belief that the old and new can be successfully combined to create an old style feel with a modern ambience.

  Our candle lit pewter style bar also houses the "Verre De Vin" wine preservation system to ensure freshness of all our wines which are available by the glass.

  Feel free to enjoy a tasty cocktail or glass of fine wine by the bar or outside in our contemporary heated smoking area.

  Our bar is open 7 nights a week from 17:00

  RESTAURANT PRIVATE DINING AT HOME

  

  PRIVATE DINING

  Our ground floor private dining room can be used for lunches, dinners, receptions and cocktail parties as well as for business meetings. Up to 45 people can be seated at 4 tables. For informal gatherings, the room can take up to 60 guests.

  As with the rest of The Cornstore, the style is comfortably sleek with polished timber flooring, large mirrors and gold wall decor.

  We operate a selection of menus for those who wish to use the private dining room and can tailor specific items to suit your budget.

  RESTAURANT COCKTAIL BAR AT HOME

  

  At Home

  The 'Cornstore At Home' opened in December 2010 across the street from our Limerick restaurant. Specialising in gourmet deli fare and takeaway food for lunch and dinner, it features locally sourced, natural produce specially selected by the Cornstore Chefs. As well as our 'Cornstore at Home' own branded product ranges, there are carefully chosen artisan ranges of the best of local, Irish and specialist lines.

  The store has been steadily building a reputation as a foodie destination with superb ready-to-go meals as well as baked goods, desserts, organic fruit and vegetables, condiments, seasonings, chutneys, jams, cooking garnishes, spices, sauces, dressings and much more.
